We really enjoyed our stay at Anne's Windy Poplars. We had a large 2 bedroom cottage with a private hot tub. There is no view of the ocean and the beach is a short drive away but there are so many other advantages to staying in these cottages. They were clean and new. The pool was great, the game room was not fancy but lots of fun. They hosts seemed to go out of their way to make sure little details were taken care of. We hit a hot week and the A/C labored a bit to cool the bedrooms but we didn't care. It was quiet at night...lots of families with small children around but it felt very private. I highly recommend this spot - epecially for families.

We Spent two nights here in the Suite above the main office, just to get away for a few days. Immaculate room with huge whirlpool tub ( i am 6'2 and it fit me fine) as well as kitchen area and fireplace. had our own private hot tub outside the room in a fenced in area and our own BBQ in the balcony.
Location offers a games/exercise facility which was great for my wife and i to shoot a few games of pool and play some air hockey (would be great for kids).
We had package which included two breakfast vouchers to the Cafe on the Clyde, this turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip as they have excellent food and a great atmosphere would recommend this to anyone looking for a delicious/quiet place to eat.

Anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway that is near all the attractions you could want, anne's windy poplars is the places for you

We booked this hotel on the website but actually found it in a brochure for PEI gettaway's and they had off season packages for great prices. We found the cottage to be fantastic with all ammenities required, including whirl pool bath , wood stove, deck, propane bbq and nice deck with chairs. The cottage was all pine inside and done up very nice. It was spotless and we truly enjoyed our weekend gettaway emensely. should have wrote this review long ago but our upcoming trip back to Cavendish is what made me think of writing a review. I've always written reviews for our Cuba trips but not for our island adventures so its time to change. This year we will be staying at Hidden Acres cottages and when I get back I will write a review for them as well. We went to Chez Evonne's restaurant for a lovely meal and also to the "Anne of Green Gables" musical in Charlottetown while we were there. Both were excellent.

Nice people, Clean Cottages, a relaxing and fun vacation for all!!!

I’ve been to the island 3 times so far but this was my first stay at this great little corner of the world. We had such a good time I just know that we will be back.

The staff is extremely friendly and the cottages are clean and up to date. It was everything they promised plus more. Game room for the kids… Some cottages even have their own Hot tubs for the adults.

The location is great… everything is within just a few minutes drive.

The ladies had a great time at the tea room just down the road. And everyone loved the lobster suppers around the corner. We also went deep sea fishing which was a blast and not very expensive when we took into account the value of the fresh fish we caught.

When we entered the office, we were greeted with a smile and prompt, efficient helpfulness. The cottage was greeted by my daughters, aged 10 & 12 with delight as they picked the beds in their very own room. The walls were wood paneled, the floors tiled & the kitchen fully stocked. On the front patio was a large hot tub that everyone made use of, as well as a barbecue ready to go.

On site was a games room with ping pong, pool, air hockey, table hockey, and a card table. Outside were two sets of swings, a volleyball net, basketball net, horseshoe throwing pits + a heat pool.

In the office, you can borrow movies, books and games for the kids. They have deals with the local golf courses and can book you in and good advice for where to get anything else you need.

On this vacation we stayed in a lot of 3 and 4 star hotels and resorts. This place was the best, hands down for a family of four.
