My husband and I with our older teenager stayed here for one night en route from Toronto to Montreal. We reserved a room with two double beds for CAD$119/£78; a reasonable cost we felt. The room had a microwave and 'fridge, which was more than we were expecting and it was clean and comfortable with free WiFi - no issues for us with the pillows! This, in my opinion, obviously isn't a destination hotel but a stop-over and so is just off the junction of the 401 and you are, therefore, going to share the surrounding area with other travellers, truckers etc. There is a garage, Tim Horton's, Swiss Chalet, pizza take away and, new to us Brits, a Harvey's. Exactly as we expected and that any look on Google Maps will show you.
So all as expected for a stop-over, with one notable exception. We have stayed in a couple of dozen Comfort Inns during holidays to the USA/Canada and the 'complimentary breakfast' is always the expected coffee/tea, cereal, waffles - it's free, so you're not going to get much more! But it was a pleasent to go to breakfast and, along with the usual, also be offered fresh out of the oven muffins and danish pastries, cleanly displayed and handled.
Staff were pleasant enough and for a stop-over holiday, we had a very good experience.
