Husband works in Pickering (lives hours away), due to being close choose this hotel to stay at. What a horrible experience, if you want to see a lot of illegal activity and be woken up at 4 am on a week day by a bad deal gone wrong (not sure if it was drugs or prostitution), than this is the place to stay. We had stayed here for a fairly long period of time (hubby went to work and I stayed around the hotel) after the fist few weeks I noticed the illegal activity going on, but police drove through every night so I figured they knew about the illegal activity! Anyway one morning at 4 am woke up to girl screaming at a guy in the hall to leave her alone or shed start knocking on people doors (she was right outside our door could see her from peep hole), the guy was yelling back to give him the money or he was going to knock her teeth out ... me in pannic mode called the front desk (hind sites 20/20 should have called the cops but being woken up by this i just hit the one button on the phone). The staff from the front desk came up and let them into a room .... where we still heared yelling and screaming so i called the front desk again ... then i went to go outside to hear the front desk calling their room telling them they had another complaint ... dont understand why he didnt just call the cops ........ Anyway in the morning we went to the front desk and said we wanted to check out we were not staying there anymore! The managers response was oh well .... no offer to try and please anyone and me being a women staying at the hotel alone during the day was disgusted and actually very scared to stay there. I should mention I am not from a large community where you see any of this go on. However I assure you that I will never stay at another super 8 due to our experience! The cops should shut the whole hotel down! Dispicable!

Simply put this motel was a grossly overpriced dive. It was really the sort of place you'd expect to have a $50 price tag. It was acceptable but if you don't get a better deal then definitely search elsewhere.

I stayed at this hotel while I was taking a three day course in Ajax Ontario. The room was fairly clean with the exception of the bathroom exhaust vent (full of dirt) the elevator sounded like a train.

Free high speed internet was included with the room however it was only wireless and i could not get a strong signal.

The toilet in the room was plugged after use so I called the front desk and they sent up a plunger for me to fix it myself...

Room furniture is old and badly needs updating. The office chair in our room had obviously had bodily fluids of some kind on the seat and a poor job had been made of cleaning it. When we complained the front desk immediately came with another, which unfortunately, was almost as filthy as the first one. This hotel badly needs a face lift.
