We stopped here for 1 night. Our room was large, well fitted and spotless. Only downside was that it adjoined the laundfry room that also contained the ice maker, but the laundry is not available after 9pm so noise did not disturb us. You do have to drive into town to eat - it is much too far to walk, but that is usual for motels. Breakfast was very good value for $3.50 each.

The owners of this motel are wonderful!! They go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We stayed in room #2. It was a bit stuffy at first but we opened the windows. The room was lovely and we would stay there again when in Kentville.

What a gem! The room was nicely renovated, reasonably priced and the owners served a great breakfast (jucie, coffee, egg/back bacon on toast, plus fresh preserves for an additional price of $3.50!! Almost like a B&B. Wish our stay had been longer.

If you folks want a nice clean reasonably priced hotel, Allen's hotel is it. I took my parents and they through this hotel was one of the nicest little hotels they have stayed in and the breakfast for 3,50 was great,. I have stayed in many hotels and this was one of the cleanest. The bathroom is small but the rest of the place makes up for it., Kudos to the owners who have undoubtably have modernized this motel. The restaurant they recommend Vicki's just down the road a bit is also very good and specializes in seafood.
