A good place to stay - comfy, clean and close to everything. Renovated nicely as well. Keep up the great work!

We spent 6 nights at C &G July 3-9, 2011. Our family of 5 had ample space in the 2 bedrooms and on the futon in the living area. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. The only thing missing, which we have appreciated in other cottage rentals, was salt and pepper, etc. Gail met us warmly and her daughter-in-law checked in with us daily to make sure we had everything we needed, including fresh towels! That we were not expecting! Unfortunately, you cannot see the water from the cabins, but it is within a 10 minute walk. The kids enjoyed the play structure and we found the location very central for our trips throughout the park.

We did not meet Chris but Gail is a sweetie and we were made to feel so welcome. We had one of the units right next to the office but felt like we were away from everything. The price is super low for what you get--a spacious living room/kitchen area with table and chairs but not at all crowded. A large and comfortable bedroom. The TV reception isn't so hot but we were so tired from our journey we soon feel asleep, listening to the clock radio. There is a gas grill for each unit, complete with gas and the kitchen is fully equipped with plates, pans, utensils, microwave, range, fridge, coffee maker, all scrupulously clean. When we arrive, later than anticipated, Gail had left us a note and instructions to phone her. She was down to welcome us in a few minutes and we had such a nice time getting to know her and learn about the area. I would recommend this place and would stay here again in a minute!

My visit of two nights, twice during the month of August, was number one accommodations. Gail and Chris were exceptional with their vast knowledge of the area, and everything was so clean and homey, that one could not ever give them a negative review. I would recommend staying there to anyone visiting Rocky Hr - just book early, as the cabins are first to go. Well done, Gail and Chris.
