What a lovely stay we had here.The owners were so friendly and welcoming, the rooms were spacious and clean, there was a beautiful big area to just hang out and a kitchenette so we could relax, make tea, chat etc, lots of balconies to relax on, a hot tub, even a massage chair in the lounge area! Breakfast was continental, all home made organic bread, granola. We are a family of four with older teenager/ adult children and both our children really enjoyed it too. My daughter has a wheat allergy which I forgot to mention until the last minute, but still the owner went out of her way to bake non wheat bread. The b and b is a short walk from a nice stoney beach and not far from another sandy one. As we live on Vancouver island and this is not too far away I arranged to go back in August and would recommend it as a great place to stay for anyone wanting a bit of r and r.

This was the first time my friend or myself had ever stayed at a B&B. Not sure what to expect and feeling a little ackward with it we went to the Hummingbird Lodge. I now will the looking at B&B's in a whole diffrent light now. We were made comfortable right from the start. Lovely people and the property was beautiful. Our room was spacious and having our own private deck was a wonderful place to have a glass of wine and relax. The guest area was large and comfortable. I have told friends that this is the place when visiting the Island. I know we will return.
