After a very long day travelling from London, we were made very welcome on our arrival. The very clean room and comfortable bed was most welcome. After a wonderful breakfast our hosts gave us suggestions for our day in the area of Coombs. Though a wet day we followed their suggestions and had a very memorable day in the Coombs Qualicum area.
Our last morning started with another memorable breakfast and good advice for our journey to Victoria. Great hosts and would recommend Thyme Away to other travellers. G and A, New Zealand.

Lovely, peaceful location and very welcoming hosts. Wonderful bed, ensuite facilities, and spotlessly clean. No need for lunch after the super breakfasts that Marcel produces with such justifiable pride! Had some great chats with Barb, who is so knowledgable.

Very enjoyable to walk around the grounds, watching Duster the horse and also the three alpacas.

Very conveniently located enroute from Victoria to Ucluelet. Lots of local attractions. Thoroughly recommended to 'get away from it all'.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights in this b&b. We chose the room with ensuite facilities, it was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very peaceful.
Our lovely hosts made us feel very welcome, we were given lots of info on the local area including restaurant recommendations that we were very satisfied with.
The highlight of our stay was being served a 5 star breakfast in the dining room overlooking the beautiful view, quiet gentle music in the background.
Breakfast consisted of delicious freshly prepared fruit salad, freshly squeezed orange juice and an abundant main dish of fluffy, melt in the mouth pancakes/waffles/french toast with blueberries, fresh strawberries and warm maple syrup.
We can't wait to go back!

A very comfortable home away from home. We were made evry welcome and the breakfasts were excellent. On our last day a bear and its cub were seen on the edge of the property - and we missed it!! We would certainly recommend.
