My husband and I stayed 4 nights in this b&b. We chose the room with ensuite facilities, it was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very peaceful.
Our lovely hosts made us feel very welcome, we were given lots of info on the local area including restaurant recommendations that we were very satisfied with.
The highlight of our stay was being served a 5 star breakfast in the dining room overlooking the beautiful view, quiet gentle music in the background.
Breakfast consisted of delicious freshly prepared fruit salad, freshly squeezed orange juice and an abundant main dish of fluffy, melt in the mouth pancakes/waffles/french toast with blueberries, fresh strawberries and warm maple syrup.
We can't wait to go back!

A very comfortable home away from home. We were made evry welcome and the breakfasts were excellent. On our last day a bear and its cub were seen on the edge of the property - and we missed it!! We would certainly recommend.

Barb and Marcel gave us so much help to make this a great holiday - by recommending great places to eat, places to visit and identifying wildlife we found on our walks! Our room was beautifully clean and the bed as comfortable as Barb promised. You won't need lunch after their fantastic breakfasts - a different menu every day. We were so pleased we chose this quiet and peaceful location over the noisier beach resorts nearby.

This was our first trip to Canada and what a wonderful place to stay. Thyme Away it really is. We were welcomed by Barb as though we had known each other for years. The house was clean, quiet and comfortable, just what we needed. We had booked over the internet after seeing the picture of Marcel and the breakfast. The breakfast is superb and will keep you going most of the day, particularly the pancakes. Barb and Marcel advised us on the places to visit in the area. As a result we enjoyed visits to Englishman River Falls, Qualicum Beach, Rathtrevor Park and of course Cathedral Grove.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we went back and spent our last night on the island there. We would love to go again.
