“warm hospitality and great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 July 2009

We arrived on the doorstep in early evening without a booking and were warmly greeted and shown around the house and rooms. No other guests were booked in that night so we had a choice of rooms and chose a double room overlooking the swimming pool and hot tub which we were advised we could make free use of. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the bathroom had a fantastic power shower.
Jim and his mum joined us in the morning for a home cooked breakfast which was superb and after commenting on how much we enjoyed the freshly cooked muffins were given some to take away with us.
This place is a little jewel as a stop over location and the hospitality is excellent, I would advise anyone to give it a try

“Very pleasant and friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 June 2009

We booked at very short notice by email. Jim replied quickly and positively. The house is a large and pleasant suburban style house with large grounds and rather unexpectedly a large, fine indoor swimming pool! Our room was very comfortable, simple and homely, with a balcony overlooking the pool building providing easy access to the grounds. Jim and his mother Lois were welcoming, helpful and friendly. They joined us for breakfast and this was a very pleasant meal with lots of nice, freshly cooked and tasty food. Cache Creek in not exactly the centre of the universe and this B&B provides nice, homely and comfortable accomodation

“Home away from Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 March 2009

In march 2008 my young daughter, new husband and a newer son had occasion to travel from prince george to vancouver, not wanting to upset the young one in travelling a lenghty distance they planned to break up their trip into two parts and overnight in Cache Creek. I did some research and was not completely confident with the accomodation in Cache Creek, till I came across the site for Jims Cache Creek bed and Breakfast. The accomodation and hospitality was first rate and immensly more personable than the brand name hotels. If you were to feel uncomfortable with a B and B your fears would be abated in this stay

“A great stopover in a scenic area”

We came out of the glorious Coast Mountains & it was too late to head down the canyons & back to Vancouver. This B&B was a wonderful surprise. It looked like an ordinary suburban house from outside, but the rooms were excellent & the hospitality outstanding. A real surprise was the wonderful collection of German figurine nutcrackers. Breakfast was exccellent. For dinner, they recommended a Chinese restaurant nearby where the meal was ridiculously inexpensive. Jim showed us around the garden & explained their plans for development; give a year or 3 & this could be even better. A comfortable & friendly oasis in an area where there is not that much in the way of accomodation.
