We recommend this place (St.St.Const.Elena) to people who like green, quiet and clean environement. But the hotel Lebed does not correspond to 4****. We can offer it mark 2**---3***. Food (meals) were nearly the same every day, a little difference in menu. Children did not have much choice to eat. But there were a lot of drinks, fruits and cakes. Room (dush-cabine and furniture) was poor. Organization was on the low level.

Visited this hotel In June 2002 with my wife and two children aged 12 and 9.The hotel is set in woodlands and doesn’t really have anything going for it itself and is really just a dormitory and an annexe of the Grand Varna. The entertainment and everything else revolves around the Grand Varna ..The hotel is spotlessly clean but lacks the facilities which we would normally expect. The worse thing which we found was having to share a table with other guests ,as there wasn’t enough tables to accommodate the guests at breakfast and dinner time ,then as soon as they had finished their meal having to endure their cigarette smoke when they lit up. There are quaint little shopping stalls and kiosks set up along the pathways in the woods where you can purchase souvenirs ,spirits, cigarettes , fruit etc. Most of the facilities of the Grand Varna can be used and we took advantage of the hot spar pool, extremely large bar ,and evening entertainment. Public transport is extremely cheap and for a few levs can go miles in a taxi. The main town Varna doesn’t have much going for it except the Museum, Roman Baths ,Cathedral ,and Railway Station Building. When visiting Varna take care as two guests from our hotel were robbed there and you have to be subjected to continual harassment by people asking for money and money changers wanting to change levs into sterling or anything other than levs. The hotel is set in a wooded complex with security on entering .The area is picturesque with plenty of long walks through the woodland and along the white sandy beaches.There are a few places worth visiting such as Nessebar,The Stone Forest,Balchik and Cape Kaliakra.Most of the bars are unbelievably cheap and we could have 4 meals and a two rounds of drinks for less than a fiver.11 PM is lights out and everybody seems to be in bed.To sum up the hotel is clean and the local people around the complex are very friendly everything is extremely cheap but outside the complex we didn’t feel comfortable on our own.I don’t think we will visit this hotel again or the complex as it lacked the facilities we expect and the security we have become accustomed to.In all it was just a new experience
