Me and my family went to this hotel on the 20th august for 2 weeks and i absolutly loved it!
the weather was amazing, we didnt have one cloudy day, although towards the end of the second week the nights were alot cooler, but only cold enough to wear a thin cardigan. i didnt expect it to still be warm in bulgaria at this time of year as we have never been this late before but the weather was very surprising.
The staff was very friendly and would all go out of their way to help you, the manager was especially helpful, one night we was there england was playing in a euro qualifier and the manager opened up the nightclub in order for me and my family, and a few others to watch the football game which i thought was amazing of them!
The food was always different, could be improved but is well worth paying for. My dad told me the beer behind the pool bar was not very nice so he stuck to spirirts, he didnt find this much of a problem though, also, if you ask for whisky they will give you their brand, but we saw that if you ask for jim beam, they store in behind the bar out of sight so you have to ask!
The hotel is amazing for kids, they always had something to do and the animation team worked extremely hard to cater for everybody, they all deserve a special mention and they are one of the main reasons i am going back next year, coud not have asked any more of them!
the maid also went out of her way to make our rooms very clean (me and my sister were pretty messy) and she also made pretty pictures on our bed which was also nice to come back too, really enjoyed the service off the maid and wouldl ike to thank her! Also, the bar staff would go out of their way to make you a specific drink if it wasnt on the menu and they also gave service with a smile and would always be polite, special mention to Sisko, the bar manager as he always made the coctails look amazing and would make sure your stay at the hotel was memorable, he deserves to be in the posistion he is in.
The nightclub was lively and unexpected, the DJ (also part of the animation team) would take requests from customers in order t cater for everybody, he played engish, russian and songs in other languages too and everybody there always seemed to be having a good night, although i did see people with a red band (means under the age of 18) down there and it does say youvegot to be 18, its not very strict.
i would reccommed to every type of group as it appealed to familys, children and also teenagers, i dont think its suitable for older people as its a very lively hotel.
Me and my family have already booked for next year and we cant wait!!!
