Hotel is very nice with a very professional staff. It is the first hotel that was less than $200 a night that had a personalized, hand-written card welcoming you. The hotel is very close to Fort Bragg, about 1 mile to the Butner gate. Desk staff extremely friendly and the lobby is very well appointed. Free continental breakfast, which is extremely nice, gym is extremely small and consists of only aerobic machines. Pool next to the hotel has a nice shade in the afternoons. Room that I had was appointed very well, with a king size bed, a small couch and coffee table, microwave and fridge. Bathroom had a step in shower instead of a bathtub, which I prefer.
Now I have to mention that the room I stayed in had bedbugs. I awoke one morning with blood on my pillow and I wondered if I had cut myself in the night. I pulled back the sheets and found a bedbug swollen on my blood. I had seen many bites on my body, but thought it was mosquitoes. Told the desk staff and they got on it immediately, having an exterminator come in. Since the hotel was full, as well as every other place in town, I decided to stay. The management offered the industrial dryer to use to kill any larvae that may be on my clothes, which melted my dress socks to some of my other clothes ruining them
I can't reccomend the hotel, no matter haw good the place is, if you get parasites feeding on you there, and the opportunity to take them home with you, it isn't worth your time.

We have stayed at this property four times. It seems like it has gotten better. The food provided for breakfast is excellent ( for this class hotel). The area around the hotel is cean and safe. The price per nite may be a little much for some ( avg $130 plus tax), but if you can swing that there is not much of a down side.

Nice newer hotel with a big clean spacious suite. Really, can't say anything bad about this hotel. Everyone on the staff from the desk, kitchen, to house cleaning were exceptionally nice folks. Very clean, soft comfy bed, got some great sleep. Great location for Ft. Bragg and surrounding areas. Good breakfast and coffee too.

The professional staff at the front desk, breakfast, and housekeeping exceeded our group's expectations and accommodated every need with a smile. The guest rooms were immaculate and the beds were luxuriously comfortable. The lobby common area was perfect for group relaxation & gathering in front of the large flat screen TVs. This Hampton Inn truly made our group feel welcomed & appreciated. Rates were a bit higher than many Hampton Inns, probably due to high demand from a large event in the area, but this property was definitely worth the price.
