My fiance and I stayed Faversham House in a quest for a romantic weekend away close to Perth. We found Nola and Richard to be very welcoming, striking the perfect balance of friendly and engaging without being overbearing. Nola was recovering from knee surgery at the time, yet we were taken care of superbly. We were made to feel at home among the antiques and the warm furnishings and old world decor provides a link to a simpler time, albeit with all the mod cons you'd expect from contemporary accommodation. Faversham House is a fascinating reminder of a bygone era, where luxury, comfort and conversation were king.
To cut a long story short, we fell in love with Faversham House and were married there in April 2007. Reading some of the (very few) negative reviews makes me wonder if those guests were capable of appreciating the special place they were staying in.
