We stayed here for two nights while exploring the area around Esperance. The motel is conveniently located on the esplanade near the town centre, and you can walk to most places of interest in the town. Esperance is a great base for trips into the Cape le Grand national park, which is extremely beautiful. The beaches around Esperance, especially Twilight Beach, are also stunning. It should be noted that the town itself (and therefore the motel) is on the harbour, but it isn't really a swimming beach. You could ride a bike on the excellent cycleway to a number of beaches.
Rooms in the Hospitality Inn are character-free but comfortable and clean. Water in the shower is very hot (appreciated after a swim) and the water pressure should probably be illegal in these times of water shortages, but it's nice! The rooms have cable TV and tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a minibar. We found the bed comfortable.
Breakfast (continental included or upgrade to cooked for an additional cost) is adequate without being memorable. The restaurant
is located at the front of the motel with lovely views of the harbour. The very busy waitress at breakfast time was friendly, while
we found the woman who was obviously supervising her unnecessarily loud and not nearly as efficient as she thought she was.
The motel has a swimming pool, which we didn't use, but which looked fine for cooling off if the weather was really hot.
We had dinner at the Pier Hotel next door and the Taylor St Jetty restaurant, walking distance from the motel, and found both very good.
All in all the Best Western Hospitality Inn is very well suited as a base for excursions, although not the sort of place you would want to
stay at if you planned to spend a lot of time in the room.
