We arrived at the property at about 9:30pm and it was nice to see someone still on reception as we managed to miss most other receptions due to long drives. The lady on the desk was pleasent and sorted out me a username and password for the ONLY free internet I got while on this trip in Australia. A nice suprise. Parking was easy and plentiful. The rooms were really nice with everything you would want. A nice big comfortable bed, nice bathroom. The room was modern and nice and roomy. Flat screen TV, table, tea and cofee and kettle, fridge. The location was also good. Right on the esplanade.

After arriving in Esperence after a long trip on the nullabor across from Melbourne and having slept in our car 2 nights we were exhausted! So we went to the hotel early at 8am to see what time the room could possibly be ready. The male behind the counter was extremly rude and said check in was at 2 and basically don't come back til then. We asked if there were any public showers nearby because we felt dirty. Reply was 'yeah twilight beach'. Okay where's that? 'bout 15mins away'. So we left did some sightseeing and lots of sitting around and waiting. At 1pm we drove back past and noticed not a single car or person in the hotel parking bay so we preceeded to go and ask again. When the man saw us, he abruptly said 'geez you're keen'. Yes well we haven't slept or showered for quite some time! We were then served by a lady who appeared to be the manager. She said that the cleaners started from the top level rooms and worked there way down so our rooms were not ready. So we decided to just wait in the lobby until they were. After complaining to my friend about the service and writing a trip advisor review (which was obviously overheard by management) within a second the attitude had changed and the lady began to be nice and suggest things to do/see in town. Why didnt she just do this from the start?
If you're after a friendly face after a long drive and to be treated nicely then this is not the place to stay!!

My husband and I stayed at the BW Hospitality Inn Esperance for two nights in January 2012 in an upstairs Queen room (room 46).

The room was immaculate and had a view of the foreshore (i.e. port area). There was a flat-screen TV and several Foxtel channels. The room was quite big and included a desk, dining area, lounge setting and bed.

The location was great, being walking distance to many restaurants and other services.

Our room rate included the continental breakfast. This was perfectly ample though for those who prefer a cooked breakfast, I believe a breakfast upgrade option is available. The continental breakfast includes cereal, toast, juice and fruit.

We also ate dinner one night at the restaurant. We ate the vegetarian caneloni which was very nice. All the options are quite traditional / home-style.

The staff members we interacted with were very friendly. I left my handbag at the restaurant and we promptly received a phone call in our room. We really couldn't fault the service.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the Best Western for 6 nights in September. The motel is located on the foreshore, within walking distance of the beach and a short drive to the heart of town. The place is easy to get to with parking right outside your apartment door. The staff were always smiling and helpful with any query you had and check-in/check-out was accomplished with a breeze.

The rooms themselves were spacious with a queen bed, single bed, table, two chairs and a desk, but in need of a serious makeover as they are currently decorated in early 90s style. The room also had very limited power points in easy to reach location, which makes it very difficult when travelling with a lot of electrical equipment. The bathroom was very small with only a shower and toilet and once in the shower with the curtain closed, most of your light source was cut off which made it difficult to see.

We only attended the restaurant for breakfast but were very happy with this. The cold breakfast selection was very minimal but the cooked breakfast was amazing.

The pool was closed for winter which I was disappointed at, as I felt like taking a dip but was unable to. I was not happy with not being able to use all the amenities they have on offer.

They do offer a laundry for guests at no charge to use and this comes in handy if you are planning on staying for a week or two.

All up I was satisfied with the motel and would consider staying here again.
