From the location to the hosts, we could not fault this place, warm and friendly. We walked out our back door (family room) into a lovely grassed area, which led straight on to the walking track that border the river, an easy walk to town and so close to everything, but quiet and restful. We were a family of 5 and stayed a week, the rooms are compact, but have great showers, Large TV and comfy beds. We cooked on the BBQ each night and we found the pool and amenities very kid friendly, as was the whole town, we'd recommend this venue to anyone, and will stay again.

A nice motel with a lovely location on the river bank with a beautiful shady green BBQ area. Its a nice stroll along the river into the centre of Bright. The motel is a nice 3* the rooms are a little dated but its comfortable and clean. I have stayed here serveral times now and will stay here again.

hotel has a nice BBQ and seating area out the back right next to the Ovens River. Short stroll to centre of Bright either along footpath on main rd or track next to the river. Booked a Twin Room but were upgraded to a Family Room. Had one Queen Bed and two singles. Full size fridge and a microwave. Would definitely stay again.

Great location right by the Ovens River, which at the time of our visit was in flood so the river was a rushing torrent. This is a family friendly motel with BBQ area, gardens and pool. Ground floor rooms open onto lawn area leading to river bank. Our first floor room had a balcony giving us a great view, however the small spiral staircase made carrying luggage upstairs a bit difficult. Room was a little dated in decor and finish but clean and comfortable. There was a full size refrigerator, a microwave and toaster, airconditioner, heater, table and chairs and TV. Bed was very comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. There's no restaurant on site, but it's only a short stroll to the centre of Bright for cafe's etc. The motel is on the main road but rooms are at the rear of the property so it's nice and quiet. Bright is a lovely town and on the doorstep of the alpine region of Victoria. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.
