Location was great, with fantastic views. Room was clean though a bit dated, and kitchen window backed on to a dark courtyard area, with constant air conditioner noise. I'd give it more stars, but the room was not cleaned in 3 nights, and coffee etc were not replenished. Also, two rooms in the unit were locked because we paid for a one bed unit, and were put in a three bed unit. Bit odd. Yeppoon is a great location, but seems to be a bit economically distressed, with lots of empty shops; pity as the reef is close, and the climate is good. Some members of our party whinged about walking up the hill (but they could drive if they wanted to, of course). Quite hard to find.
Room Tip: Ask for sea view in the front.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of Villa Mar Colina. We would just like to point out that all of our villas are 2 or 3 bedroom and it is common practice for bedrooms to be closed off if not being used or paid for. Our apartments are fully self contained, not hotel rooms and are serviced weekly. A laundry is provided with washing machine and dryer for use at anytime. Villa Mar Colina was completely refurbished 2 years ago, not in a modern style but in keeping with the mediterranean style of the building. There is also only 2 of our apartments with limited ocean views. Our 3 bedroom villas and Penthouse are at the back of the complex all with the same stunning views across to the islands
