“Horrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 August 2011

Warning: The low per night price is not worth it!! Our room was so dirty! Bits of food and other debris was all over the floor. It smelled, and the bathroom was filthy. We gathered our things and immediately checked out, after only a few minutes, letting the staff know why we could not stay. Because they did not live up to their end of the deal by providing a clean room, we assumed our money for our three nights, which were prepaid online, would be refunded, but no, the manager refused us a refund, so we lost $175.00.

“Pleasant and convenient”

We stayed 2 nights here when we went to Chapel Hill for our son's graduation. The location was convenient, both for the Raleigh-Durham airport and for Chapel Hill. The hotel was pretty standard--predictable Days Inn, with large room, adequate breakfast, and reasonable rates. The one thing I would mark it down for is that our room had a slight smell of cigarette smoke.

“I was really impressed with the staff and the rates of this clean inn.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 May 2011

When my brother was put on the critical list at rex hospital, my brother and I went there to stay for a few days. Those turned into about two weeks,The staff on all shifts were so thoughtful and caring to people they had never met. They treated us the same way on day one as well as on the last day. The maids were so wonderful and the owner even asked if there was anything he could do to make our stay any easier. You sure don't get that down home treatment any shere close to Nashville T.N. This is close to a lot of woderful resturants and the staff gave me directions anywhere, They treat you like family and at a hard time in our lives it was greatly appreciated and unexpected . Thank you all.

Room Tip: they will ive you the best rate available

“Served the purpose for one night”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 April 2011

Was in town for a college tour, front desk was very helpful. We got in abour 9:30pm. Got into the room and was not impressed, inside our heating unit was COOKIES AND GUMMY CANDY, it was nasty. They have old TV's where only about 12 channels worked that night, the next morning we had more. The channel for CNN was showing cartoons, and Cartoons were showing movies, it was all screwed it. When it was time for bed, we got in and the bed sounded like the springs had just popped and the mattress was very wobbly. If you are used to staying to staying like this you will be fine, if not, keep looking. Overall it served the purpose for what we were in town for and the rate was good for the one night that we needed.

We are so sorry to hear about your Stay, please accept our apology. I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with the stuff left into AC unit as well our Apology for the TV Channels being not working properly. Just to let you know, there was a systemwide outgage in the area due to recent storm and time warner was working on the TV Cable Channels, therefore it's possible that ALL Channels may not be shown correctly. I assure you that they all are working fine abnd we have over 70 Channels including HBO.

“This is probably the worst motel room we've ever stayed at!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 May 2010

To begin with the website is very deceiving. The motel doesn't look like the picture at all. Everything on the outside was overgrown and dirty, and in spite of the appearance of security cameras, we didn't feel safe. Inside, the room had several problems, with dirtiness being number one on the list. I put on white socks for a couple of hours before I went to bed and wore them about an hour before we checked out the next morning. When I took them off, they were black on the bottom and around the sides! Everything else in the room was dirty, including the bed linens. We found a spider and an ant in the bed! The other problems were a broken toilet seat and broken ironing board. We've stayed in inexpensive motels before, and they were clean and well maintained. This one was not.

We are sorry to hear and see that you don't agree with pictures on our Web Site. They are exactly same original pictures as it appears for our hotel and not some one else. We have 18 security camera's surrounded for the safety of our guest and traveler's like you. Again, We are sorry that you take them as wrong way. Video Survelance system is very common now a days and they are at most business places for the safety. Please accept our apology for the incovenience you may have had during your stay and that you didn't like anything at our hotel including original pictures on our web site.
