Our family of 4 stayed here October 2011 after booking as part of an impromptu trip to Carowinds on our way through North Carolina. After a very comfortable night's sleep, we enjoyed the continental breakfast. I must say that this is the best continental breakfast we've had. The variety was great, everything was fresh and there were plenty of hotel staff serving and checking on guests and offering to refill items and offer fresh mints as we finished with our breakfast. Everyone went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful- if we are ever in this area again, we will definitely stay here again! Its an excellent value for all you get at this hotel.

I will preface this by first saying that our normal stays are at Intercontinentals, Westins, WA etc etc, but if you want a good deal without all the extra frills then this is THE place. This is hands down a great hotel. Room is great, beds are comfortable with clean linens and soft duvet. If you get a suite with a kitchen it is even better. I have lived in CLT many years and the location is so ideal and quick to get anywhere.
Breakfast area is sweet. Big flat screen with many tables. Hot and cold food options plus fresh waffles if you desire. They even offer to make it for you since they are so kind. The last time I was there they even offered M, T, W free dinner catered from local restaurants. What a fantastic surprise and great thing to offer!! Parking is plentiful, elevator fast, they offer yummy cookies in the lobby, business center is great and all the staff were extremely nice. I always have extensive stays here and each time the trips are great. I will return again and again as it continues to serve my needs and I always feel welcome. Keep it up staff as you are all great at your jobs and it takes the right people to what you do.

We stay here every visit to the South Charlotte area. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. All staff we have encountered are pleasant and courteous. I would have given them a 5 star, but wish there was more fresh fruit at breakfast! Only criticism I have...

This place is awesome! We stay here every year during our trip to Pineville, and we receive consistantly great service every time. The staff literally knocked themselves out trying to please us during our stay. They were happy to provide us with free toothpaste and shaving cream to when we forget to bring ours. The breakfast buffet is terrific and has anytthing you might want. They have omelettes, sausage bisquits, fresh fruit, and even french toast made while you wait and brought to your table. ALL FOR FREE! The room was nice and clean with a 42" LCD TV and free internet. There were no loud party'ers banging around overhead or next door. There are tones of resturants and a shopping mall next door. We mentioned that we were visiting the Carolina Medical Center and got a nice discount.

This is why we come here every year.
