I purchased three nights off of hotwire for $60 a night. The hotel was a standard Holiday Inn that was converted to an "express" a few years ago. It's very clean, updated and well taken care of. The staff is friendly and it's located in a great spot - close to 465, a major mall, shopping and restaurants.

The b-fast in the morning is also nice - fresh, lots of selection and the staff kept the area clean and well stocked. Nice touch!

The only downfall is that they don't have a gym on site. They give you complimentary access to the Bally's down the street, which is nice. It's not as nice as walking down the hall to the gym, though. Then again, it's a Bally's, so there is a lot of variety. This particular Bally's was in good shape and the staff was also very nice.

All in all, I would go back when I am in the area. For the price, it really can't be beat!

I stayed at the HI Express in Pineville for a week long training trip for the C12 Group. I found it to be an outstanding value. Relatively new, clean and a friendly staff. Staying on the third floor, it was extremely quiet. While surely a function of who's staying, I never heard a car, truck or other guest.
My only disappointment was that there was no exercise room. They do provide a free entrance to the Bally gym down the street, but I'm too lazy to go somewhere else.
Using AARP it was the best price for a great hotel I could find anywhere in the area.
Breakfast was better than most with some variation. Not restaurant quality, but more than adequate for starting the morning.

Estaba visitando familia en el área y encontré este hotel en la red por 3 noches. Me llamó atención el especial que tenían el fin de semana, no sé por qué era mas barato el fin de semana que entre la semana pero en fin estuve muy satisfecho.

Tenían un desayuno mucho más completo que otros hoteles en los que he estado. La recámara estaba muy limpia, olía bien, había una televisión nueva y el servicio del los empleados me sorprendió positivamente porque todos me saludaban cuando me veían LOL...

Definitivamente lo recomendaría a otros. Cuando se queden allí, visiten el centro comercial que está a 3 minutos del hotel.

El aeropuerto está a más o menos 20 minutos...

THe room was clean and quiet, the staff was friendly, the breakfest was great, the woman working the breakfest was great. A very nice place to stay.
