The location is great with access into Charlotte. If you prefer you can take a short drive and ride the train in or just drive in yourself. The room is OK. There are micro/fridge. There are some good restaurants nearby. The breakfast is really good. Monday - Wednesday evening they have free snacks. They have good cookies in the lobby in the early evening. The pool is clean and nice. An on site work out room with an elliptical would be nice. You can drive to a Bally's Fitness and workout for free. My wife didn't like the front door, which was not automatic. All in all a nice place to stay and much more economical than downtown Charlotte.

I read the reviews hear and you would think this was a wonderful place. It was not terrible just average older Hotel with old tube televisions clean well used rooms.
All the same things you would expect at any Holiday Inn. I have paid much less than 126. 78 a night for much nicer places.

This was my second time staying at the HI Express in Pineville and I returned without hesistation. I was even more delighted with my stay this time. The young man at the front desk (his name started with a "T", regretfully I cannot remember it) was energetic and friendly. I was quickly checked in to an immaculate room with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. This hotel is absolutely silent and peaceful, allowing me to complete my work quickly with the help of the fast wireless internet in the room.

Our youth lacrosse teams stayed at the Holiday Inn for a tournament weekend. The staff was courteous, the rooms were clean and the kids enjoyed the pool. Our teams had early morning games and the staff was kind enough to have breakfast ready for our team at 6:30 am. We truly appreciated that!! Thank you for a great experience and we look forward to heading back there again.
