“Everything was perfect at Palm Air Cottages - best accomodations ever!”

The cottages were clean and comfortable- with a private screened in porch that we used every morning and night. Everything was quality from the bed linens to the decorations. The pool was well kept and nicely decorated. The landscape was beautiful with roses in bloom that I can only dream of growing- the most beautiful was outside out front door! The owners, Anne and Ea were helpful, friendly and always pleasant to see around the grounds. There are many stores, piers, eateries within walking distance. We walked to Jack Mackerals and had a great dinner, walked on the pier then walkied back to the cottage making one of the most relaxed evenings I have ever had. We loved everything about our stay and would highly recommend Palm Air for a relaxing, quiet vacation.

“Our home away from home”

This is our third trip this year and we absolutely would not think of staying anywhere else. Anne and Ea are always warm and inviting with their smiles and hugs that greet us each time.
Our first stay this year we couldn't find a baby sitter so we had to bring our 65lb boxer mix. We were a little hesitant to stay in a pet friendly place because most are not clean but knew if we could trust any place to be clean it would be Anne and Ea's. The townhouse was immactulate and Zeek loved having the space to roam. Anne also gaves us useful information about taking Zeek down to Fort Fisher to play. His first trip to the beach was a success!
Our second trip we only stayed a couple of nights and stayed in the Pier View cottages. They were very nice clean and newly remodeled.
We leave tomorrow after a 7 day vacation and it just wouldn't have been the same if we didn't stay at the cottages. It's quiet and relaxing even when all the cottages are full. Our every need was met and we are looking forward to our next trip!

“A most welcoming and comfortable cottage”

A friend and I decided to drive to Kure for the day on a saturday. I knew that it might be challenging to find a place to stay at the last minute and for one night in late July. We found Palm Air Cottages and by chance they had a cottage available. The innkeepers were extremely warm and welcoming and we had a wonderful stay in our cottage. It was clean and comfortable, equipped with 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen and dining table, AC, and we loved having our own screened in porch. They also have a lovely and clean pool. The location was great-just a block from the beach. I plan to visit and stay there again soon.

“Our second stay - and we were delighted once again!”

This is our first day back home from our second, delightful stay at Palm Air Cottages in Kure Beach, NC. Our first visit was mid September 2009, when we spent one week in lovely Cottage 2. During that visit it was myself and my significant other. My mother also spent the last part of the week with us. This visit was very peaceful and relaxing as high tourist season has just passed and the majority of the 7 cottages were available. The cottage was immaculate, and Anne and Ea are the most friendly and hospitable hosts you could ever hope for. They are very knowledgeable on all things to do in the area and provide awesome recommendations, based on your interests. We loved it there so very much, that we knew without a doubt that we would return.

When it came time to schedule our next visit, we selected Cottage 6. It is bigger and has a partial ocean view from the screened porch. Brad and I just love to spend late evenings relaxing there with the ocean breeze and once in awhile you can hear the sounds of the ocean after most of the activity dies down. It is just wonderful. My son and his girlfriend accompanied us to take a well-deserved break/ vacation from college and they enjoyed jogs on the beach, body boarding, ice cream cones on the pier and late night beach strolls under the stars to name a few.

The tourists season was just getting into full swing during our visit this time and so the experience was a bit different that the last. Many more people at the beach, traffic on the roads and so forth. What was not different was the cottages themselves and our hosts Anne and Ea. The cottage was once again charming, well maintained and would pass the white glove cleanliness test!! It was exciting to be 'repeat guests' there, as Anne and Ea are just the most wonderful hosts and you begin to feel as though they are truly family.

There are a vast number of sights to see and places to visit in the area that will keep your calendar filled for a number of visits to the area as well. We plan to return to the cottages FOR SURE. We have many things yet to see and do after two weeks spent on the island. We have also set a more long term goal to relocate to the area.

If it is charm, cleanliness and hospitality that you seek during your beach vacation, but you can do without room service and the top of the line luxuries for a more down home feel - Palm Air Cottages and your hosts Anne and Ea WILL NOT disappoint!!

“Great place & value; terrific innkeepers!!!”

I LOVE staying here -- especially in Cottage 7 (the Treehouse), which is perfect for 1 (or 2 people who REALLY like each other).

Anne and Ea (EE-uh) are your genial hosts, and they're perfect: friendly & helpful but unobtrusive. Anne makes sure everything is absolutely spotless, from the cottages themselves to the sparkling pool. It's also quiet.

These aren't luxury cottages, but they DO have full kitchens, so you can cook in, if you like -- or you can walk to any of about six restaurants, plus the Kure Beach pier, and the beach is only a block away. Perfect for a weekend getaway or a longer vacation. Enjoy!
