We had never stayed at a bed breakfast before. The Waverly Inn has convinced us that they were worth the money. We had a very clean and comfortable room. We received great service and our rooms were spotless when we returned at the end of the day. The food was fantastic along with same great cookies. The owners were very personable and helpful with ideas of what to do during our stay and how to get there. My wife and I highly recommend the Waverly Inn. We plan on going back. Thanks again for a great stay guys.

My wife and I just celebrated 25 years of marrage last week. We discussed where to go this year and both agreed Hendersonville was the choice. I booked the 1898 Waverly a few weeks before our trip for two nights. After the first night, we started talking about extending our stay another night and decided to do so. We had to move to another room for the extra night, but it was well worth it. The owners and staff are extremely skilled and friendly. The place is spotless, the rooms are great, and the breakfast is amazing. We both say we will be back again and again. We will not stay at any of the other options in the Hendersonville area again. We love this place!!!!

We recently were guests at The 1898 Waverly Inn. Our long weekend was relaxing and enjoyable. The inn has lots of character and comfortable "home-like" atmosphere. The owners are very friendly and always available for any request. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful-best grits ever!! Each day there is a social hour at 5 pm with several wines and fresh fruit & cheeses- a really nice way to meet other guests and hear of their experiences and travel in the area.

Room tip: Rooms have small showers and some have clawfoot tubs

We are so glad that you enjoyed your breakfast. Those grits are a mix of stone-ground yellow and white. Next time you need a grit fix, come see us again!

I have now stayed at the Waverly for 4 or 5 times--and it keeps getting better. Diane, Darla, and Debbie are gracious and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and the beds divine. The breakfast and evening social hours book end the day with good food and conversation. Ah, yes, then there is the evening dessert buffet. I'll be back!

My wife and I stayed at the Waverly Inn recently while we were in the area looking for a new home for our move to the area. The Inn has a lot of character and we loved it immediately. There is a social hour every day at 5pm, and it gave us a chance to meet several nice couples. The Inn Keepers even raided their own fridge to find us a few beers, in lieu of wine. The large front porch was a perfect place to have morning coffee and chat with the other guests. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful, as we had cinnamon raisin French toast with strawberries. And most of all, the room was very affordable, as we had been staying at a Fairfield Inn, while in Hendersonville house hunting, but for only $10 more per night, we have the luxury of a very nice and well appointed bed & breakfast. The Inn is also walking distance to downtown, which was so convenient for us to have lunch & dinner. Thank you to the Waverly Inn for a very nice and relaxing stay. I am sure we will be back, at least until we find our new home!

Room tip: They do have one pet friendly room.
