“Mostly good stay.”

Stayed over holiday week. The room was a little pricey for the size but so were other motels in the area. The attendant was very friendly and a nice lobby. Stayed with a pet and they are pet friendly. The room itself had some newer looking renovations including a new bathroom vanity in black granite. We had a hard time regulating the heat and had to adjust several times throughout the night. Nice comfy king size bed. The big issue is that one of the bath towels had makeup on it in several places. I discovered this when i was wet and straight out of the shower. I had to air dry as they only give two towels and my husband had already used his. Also, there was only on washcloth and no foot towel. I mentioned it to the clerk who apologized but I did not get the impression it was going to be reported to management. Overall this place was okay. The room did look clean aside from the towel issue.

First time ever staying at a Jameson Inn. The room was much smaller that what I expected but it was a decent and clean room. The Hotel is located in probally the one of the better areas of Dunn to stay at,, just off I-95.
It is overall a pretty nice facility. just a good no frills overnigh place to stay.
There was a free breakfast included with stay which was pretty basic, No hot eggs or gravy but they had cereals, Hot waffle machine, pastries and premade sasuage biscuits to heat up in microwave.
Seems a little pricy for a small room. but form my experience of other hotels in this town. the lessor priced ones are where you start seeing bedbugs and filth and bums in the parking lots.
I would stay here again if had to stay overnight in Dunn,NC.

Room Tip: This is a 2 story building with no elevator so if you have to take in alot of baggage ask for a grou...

“Pet Friendly”

The hotel managers were very nice and helpful. We were traveling with a dog and although they charge an extra $15.00 a night for having a pet we really did not have a choice. We were put on the 2nd floor in an end room. The hotel is older with an older tv and our remote did not work. The manager did replace it promptly. Although the room was clean, almost everything was old and there was what appeared mascara stains on one of the pillow cases. We did not realize the air conditioner was not working properly until after we were settled for the night and did not want to have to change rooms. We reported it to the manager the next morning. The breakfast was adequate with sausage biscuits, make your own waffles, fresh fruit, grits, oatmeal, cereal. If we did not have a pet I would have opted to stay at the Hampton Inn next door.

“Good Stay”

I recently had an overnight stay here. I was happy to find that it was clean and in safe area. Upon entering the room, I found that it was a little on the small side, but since it was just me, it wasn't really a problem. In addition, it was clean and the beds were comfy. The only problem I encountered with the room is that there were two flies in there (and I *hate* flies) - I killed one. That kind of ruined my experience because flies make me feel dirty but I don't necessarily think all the rooms are like that or "dirty". If you look at the picture, you can see that the rooms are on the outside vs. the inside so it's totally understandable how that could happen. Anyway, the staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was good; I loved the waffles - I only wish they had other meat options besides pork (but maybe they do. After all, I was only there for a day). So, in a nutshell, I would still very much recommend this place but I think the flies have ruined it for *me*.

“Good deal but needs a refresh”

We stayed at the Jameson Inn as our stopping point on a trip from New England down to Florida.
We were very tired on arrival, having driven for 12 hrs.
The gentleman at the front desk was great. Very friendly and accommodating to our requests. He made check in a fast and easy process. Complimentary USA Today in the lobby is appreciated.
Someone else called a short time after we were in our room to be sure everything was ok. Nice.
While the room was clean and acceptable, it's time for this Jameson Inn to get a refresh.
The chair/ottoman was not in good shape. Even just replacing that would make a huge difference to the overall appearance.
Make sure to get the deluxe room which includes a refrig., microwave and coffee pot if those are amenities you like/need. Not much more expensive.
Complimentary breakfast service starts at 5:30am, great for early travelers like us.
Location can be a little difficult to find the first time, but is in a great spot as you can hop right back on the highway in the morning.
The motel was the least busy we've ever seen it. Not that we are there often, just twice a year for 1 night.
Can't help but wonder if people are making other choices due to this place starting to look worn?
Another note- this is a pet friendly hotel. Kudos for that.
You can find discount coupons for this place at the rest areas in NC , in the hotel books.
Overall we were happy with our stay and the Jameson Inn. We just hope they do some updating soon.
