We stayed at the Charlotte Marriott City Center for 3 nights for our son's wedding. The employees at the reception desk are unbelievably helpful, the bellhops can't do enough for you and our room was spacious, impeccably clean and comfortable. The hotel is huge and includes 2 bars, a restaurant, and a Starbucks. The business center has 3 computers and a printer that are free to use. The only thing missing is an airport shuttle. Although there are always taxis in front of the hotel, it is $25 to get to the airport. The location in uptown Charlotte is really convenient to a lot of attractions, restaurants and bars. Not sure what the hotel costs per night but we got a great rate in the wedding block. I would definitely stay again at the Marriott if I ever return to Charlotte.

This is a great business hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room that i stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The only negative thing I could say about this hotel is that it does not have a in house airport shuttle.

Our room had a nice modern feeling with brand new furniture (TV, Coffee table, La-z boy type chair) and a really comfortable King size bed with a lot of pillows. The bathroom was stylish but a bit small for 2 people to be ready at the same time. We did not have much of a view, not sure if any room does. The hotel has all the amenities to be expected for a Marriott. The on-site parking is a huge plus, very convenient. Breakfast was very good, delivered promptly but expensive. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Charlotte, you are walking distance from all bars/restaurant. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant Aria Tuscan Grill walking distance from the hotel and highly recommend this place.

Very easy to get and very convenient to everything downtown. Rooms are average for a Marriott. If you are in town for business or to catch a game, then this is the place to stay.
