Have stayed at this Westin before and was pleased. This time was a disappointment. NC Music Factory had advertised a special rate on their website for Westin guests. Called to make reservations and Westin reservations would not honor the rate. They told us to check with Westin front desk at check-in. Upon check-in, they would not honor rate. We even showed them the rate on the website and they still would not honor it. Free shuttle service from Westin to NC Music Factory was also listed. Westin front desk would not honor this either. The Westin now makes guest pay for Internet, local phone calls, and parking. This has never been the case when staying over for the weekend. Because our reservations were entered incorrectly in to their system, we had to check out of our first room on Saturday morning and then check back into another room. Neither room had good water pressure and the second room had a shower head that wasn't even working...(normally I wouldn't say anything about this, but the Westin prides itself on it's "Heavenly Shower" with dual shower heads). I will say that the rooms were clean. The cleaning staff really does a good job. Wish I could say the same for reservations and front desk staff. Disappointing because they have been good to us in the past, and is a good weekend retreat when going out on the town. Will investigate other options next time.
