Stayed here for approx. 2weeks. Staff friendly & helpful. Breakfast delicious & plentiful. Within walking distance of uptown and literally next door to Bank of America Stadium (home to Carolina Panthers football team).

I just spent 5 days at this property. It's well located in terms of access to Levine arts complex and the Stadium, but is not on the "right" side of town for socializing...it's an isolated property. Parking's very easy and trouble-free (in/out privileges all day). Front desk's always helpful; b'fast and evening bar staff show their genuine friendliness at every opportunity. Well-stocked sundries/canteen. Rooms are clean and comfortable. So, what are the issues? The hotel ended their relationship with a nearby "real" gym...that's annoying: Their own gym is inadequate for all but those with minimal phys ed requirements and their one piece of weight equipment is showing significant wear. I'm starting to see service issues in terms of room prep: Kitchen supplies are missing; requests for towels go unanswered; the bathrooms are starting to look worn. Newer TVs (with a great selection of cable channels including HBO and Scifi) offer some compensation. Decent (and free) internet service.

I stayed at this hotel over a weekend for my brother's wedding....and several months later for a funeral in the Charlotte area. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff was courteous and helpful. The location is perfect for downtown events. (The only caveat to this statement is that it is very difficult to get to on a Panthers home-game Sunday because of the proximity of the stadium and the related traffic.) Because we had so many members of the extended family in town for the wedding, we took great advantage of the breakfast room/lobby - sitting around eating and chatting in front of a roaring fire. The staff was very helpful in distributing a "goody bag" to each wedding guest staying at the hotel. A parking garage is conveniently attached to the hotel and I don't remember having to pay for it over the weekend.

We have been staying at this hotel for about 5 years now. Each year we go to Charlotte for a long weekend & to go to a Panthers game. This hotel is in the perfect location-it is right across from the stadium and their is a free shuttle to local restaunts. Their free breakfast is above average for free breakfsts. The hotel staff is always very friendly & nice. We look forward to our stay with you next year!
