I've learned to trust Microtel over the years when I need a good deal on a quick stay. Very Clean nice Hotel!

I traveled to Charlotte for a business meeting in which got canceled. Unfortunatly I had already made my arrangments to be in town for the days I booked. So I decieded to take a little time for myself. And while the location of the hotel was not right down town next to everything, I did find that it was a short distance. If I were to book a hotel right down town or any closer than this it would have cost me double. The staff was very helpful with directions and helped me get to great places. I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, service was excellent, The price was lovely, the rooms were large and comfortable for a "economy hotel" and I had an excellent nights sleep. Although this may be a "economy hotel" I definatly feel that I should have been paying more do to the friendly staff and excellent service. I was even able to meet the Owner/Manager which by other hotel standards seems to be completely out of the question.

Although the hotel looks new and they advertise "newest hotel at this exit", it is actually 10 years old. The hotel itself is no frills and would have been fine if the a/c lines in the ceiling hadn't burst over the summer staining all the ceilings in room 111. They are slowly repairing the damage. Minimal breakfast offerings, free internet, large well lit parking lot and skimpy towels. We had a good nights sleep and tthe price was right with the coupon from the North Carolina travel centre. This hotel is located at exit 16B and, although not far away, all the restaurants and shopping are located at exit 18. I wouldn't stay again.

The rooms were small, but comfortable for a 2 night stay and they were neat & clean They did offer a continetal.breakfast and their were resturants. in the area. The only problem I had was they do not have coffee in all rooms you had to go to the lobby for coffee or ice. Not far from interstate 77 and the price was great for the rooms
