We stopped by Buxton Munch Co. for lunch on a Friday this past June and it was delicious! Both my husband and I got the fish tacos. Many times, fish tacos are small, but these portions were VERY generous. The staff was friendly, but the seating area inside is small. If you go during busy hours, you'd have a hard time finding a place to sit. The other menu items looked good, but everything was just a $1-3 dollars overpriced, we thought. But would definitely recommend!

As a local who's eaten at Buxton Munch for over six years now, I'd recommend this place in a heart beat! The food is beyond excellent and the service and owners are super friendly. They had some problems recently with a rude server, but she's no longer there and everything's back to normal. Visitors always wonder where the locals go to eat, so now you know!

This place used to be our favorite spot to eat at! Friendly service, great food, a super secret! Bottom line, unless they get rid of a staff member, we will not be back. This girl, maybe 18 years old, kept taking our plates while we were still eating, listened in on our conversation and made comments (not just being friendly, being rude), and never gave us refills. She even shouted at us, saying to close the door because of the A/C while half of our group was trying to get in the door.

My 6 year old had ordered a soda and after one glass, I told her she needed to drink some water. Anyone with kids who get hyper can understand this. The server refused to get us water, saying they do not serve it or have it. Tap water? Nope. We had purchased five drinks and she wouldn't even go to the bathroom sink and fill a glass for my 6 year old. I even offered to pay for it and this girl started getting sassy with us.

There are signs all over reminding you to tip. If you are going out to eat, you expect to tip. These reminders are just tacky! There are also signs saying that kids who are loud and unruly will have to leave. This sign at the entrance is just rude as well. This is strange to me because the place is decorated with toys, memorabilia and looks very kid friendly. My children love the atmosphere.

Too bad. I'm not sure if they changed owners or if it is just this server, but we will not be back. The food is always excellent, but it is rediculous for someone to keep trying to take your plate while you have more than half of your meal still on your plate!

Great food, quick service and friendly! It is a small place with a rule against screaming children so don't go with cranky toddlers. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and would go again! Don't let the shopping center atmosphere scare you off!
