We stayed in the larger of the two cabins and found it to be clean and comfortable. They were secluded enough to give us privacy and a wonderful feel of that wilderness that the Adirondacks are famous for, while being close enough to dining facilities, Whiteface, and Lake Placid. For those who enjoy swimming there is a beach (along the river) with a playground and picnic areas. The cabin is equipped with air conditioning in the livingroom and the bedroom, which made our stay very comfortable. It also has a fireplace that would be perfect for fall and winter stays. Overall this was a wonderful place to return to after a day of sight seeing! We plan on visiting in the fall and again in the winter!
