We arrived to check in for our powered campsite to a very rude and 'not happy to be at work' lady on reception.
We had to spend sometime preparing our camp site, big sticks everywhere, roots from trees that we had to chop out, large rocks etc. for the price you pay you would think they would maintain their campsites.
The bathroom facilities were very average. Again, for the price you pay $15 a night per person, you would think they would have soap in the soap dispensar in the bathrooms. The bathrooms are in need of a refreshen up.
I stayed at Club Capricorn as a child about 20 years ago, the place has not changed. I don't think anything has been updated. It's very run down. The website talks about the facilities, the only facility I saw being used was the pool. Tennis court, basketball court, playground are all in need of some maintenance.
Again on check out the lady at reception was very rude (a different lady). She didn't even say a word to me. I walked in and said 'checking out of campsite x, surname x'. She just looked at me, got out a piece of paper and handed me my key refund. She didn't speak a word to me. I have never stayed somewhere where you don't get a 'hope you had a nice stay', 'have a safe trip home' or a 'hope to see you again'.
I wouldn't stay the again. It was not worth the $150 we paid for 2 nights.
