“Modern, clean, friendly and helpful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 June 2011

Great location. Across street from grocery store and a short walk to park. Free parking, free wi-fi and free computer use. Free movies for kids on big screen. The breakfast had a large variety and everything was fresh and tasty. Very clean rooms, restaurant and common areas. A newer hotel with staff that went out of their way to make sure we were happy. No pool or spa.

“Ideal family stay near Europa Park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2010

This is a comfortable family orientated hotel, close to Europa Park (walkable and close to resort's own hotels). English spoken. Parking available. Good value - booked direct at hotel web site - family room €135 B&B per night (double with set of bunk beds) of good size with en suite shower (not bath). Local tax of €1.50 per person payable on arrival. Dinner menu a bit limited but again, good value (€60 for family inc drinks) and generous portions and friendly service. Breakfast buffet (continental plus scrambled egg and bacon).
Downsides? Not many. We had ground floor room which was a little noisy around 9-10 pm but we were all "whacked" after day around the park so it did not keep us awake. German TV only. Towels are small so take your own if you can. No internet in room.

“Great family-friendly hotel!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2010

Stayed for two nights, and was very impressed. Couldn't help thinking it would be nice to have such a spacious family room available in all the hotels we visit - with an 8 and 12 year old we are often forced to book two rooms, which is not ideal!
Reception staff and restaurant staff were very friendly, and spoke good English.
Breakfasts and dinners in the hotel were great - perhaps some patisseries would have been nice for breakfast, but you can't have everything. Felt like a place where you didn't have to keep "shushing" your kids, as there were so many other kids around!
Room and bathroom were very clean and well kept. What more can you ask for at this price? I paid 134 EUR for a family room per night (including breakfast), which I thought was pretty good.
A bit of a walk (15 min.) in the morning, but take your car and pay for parking (3 or 4 Euros) if that bothers you!

“New, clean, friendly.... and with a bonus!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 May 2010

I was planning a very last minute trip to EuropaPark and I found this hotel online. The price was correct (79,00€ per night, double room with breakfast) but I didn't book it on the web because we drove over and I wasn't sure about the timing.
Once there, we found the Hotel very-very easily because it's well positioned and it can be seen from the main road.
It is located about a 5/10 minute drive from EuropaPark.

Fortunately, there were still a couple of rooms available and the receptionist applied the same rate I had seen on the net (79 ,00€).
The girl who checked us in was warm and friendly and, even though her english wasn't great, she really did her best to explain us the basics.

The hotel is rather new and very clean.
Our room was pretty big, with a nice clean bathroom and everything you can expect from a hotel room (color TV, telephone, safe, hairdryer & courtesy items etc.).
I really appreciated 2 things about the room:
1- the window blinds were excellent and there was no light coming inside the room whatsoever!!! I can't sleep if the room is not completely dark and I hate it when the light wakes me up at 5 in the morning....
2 - the towel warmer. It was really useful because it was raining and wrapping up in a nice and hot towel after my shower was delightful!

The breakfast was ok, with enough choice and good quality. However the staff was a bit slow to refill missing things and there was absolutely no tea available (only german coffee, hot & cold milk and hot chocolate).

To make the story short I would choose this hotel again and I would recommend it because it had a couple of nice bonuses that we hadn't expected.
First of all the parking lot is big, convenient and free.
Secondly, if you spend a night there you'll get free access to the parking lot of EuropaPark for the following day. We absolutely didn't know about that and were happy to save the 4,00€ parking fee ;-))

On a different note, if you want to buy your Park tickets at the Hotel Reception you can do that and the price is the same (no service fees apply). However you'll have to pay cash because they have a weird policy about the selling rights.

Have fun!!!!!!
