We have stayed in theme hotels around the globe, from Disney to Vegas to Universal etc. and this is honestly one of the very best themed hotels and blows all the Disneyland Paris Hotels out of the water. The decore of the Leonardo rooms, the fountain show, the kids play areas, the excellent breakfast, the superb pool, this place is a real treat. The cleaners even put complimentary book marks in our books. We loved it. I live in hotels for work, but this one really made me feel I was on holiday.

Only 2 areas for improvement required however - the rooms could use a safe, and in the summer I think air con would be a must. I loved it and can't wait to go back (though all the Europa Park hotels looked super).

I was in this hotel at beginning of november to assist a job conference. Very good hotel in a Characteristic atmosphere: the roman empire. The room was spacious, clean, well furnished. Free wi-fi available in the room. Bathroom also clean with hand and body soap available. Very good impression is the roof of the lobby. All the hotel is in roman empire style, also the wear style of the staff. A lot of restaurant inside the hotel: food of good quality an well cooked. For the breakfast you can choose what you want. Outside, in the central area of the hotel you can find a brief view of all the italian area, starting from venice with the gondola up to a piece of "colosseo". There are also swimming pool and spa.

we are coming back nearly every year and it's a fantastic experience each time! clean and nice rooms, child friendly, good food and nice staff. just perfect :-9

We reserved a small suite which was located on the ground floor. This was because these rooms had air-conditioning. The bathroom can only be described as ascetic (as elsewhere in Colosseo). No bath tub. Tiny shower. The price of the room had me expecting for more. Ground floor suite had the good sides: The hotel pool was around the corner. And bad sides: as we were by the "town square" the loudspeakers directly above our window started blasting VERY LOUD MUSIC every hour on the hour because of the "musical fountains show on the square". Colosseo has a nice ice-cream cafe downstairs which is a plus.
