I've stayed here 3 times in the past, most recently in April 2010, on spec having crossed the Rhine.
Brilliant place and very good value for money. Breakfasts and Dinners are of excellent quality and the rooms are quaint, clean and tidy. We travelled by motorbike, the parking was safe and secure.
Be sure to visit the cellar bar, to chat and get to know the locals - happy hour 6-7pm :-)

“Peace and tranquility”
This is a wonderful hotel, a bit olde worlde but with excellent facilities. The host Willie Graf does everything he can to make the stay perfect. As a guest you also have use of the local transport (trains and buses 100mtrs) free within the Black Forest area, this meant visiting Baden-Baden and several local towns where I could also sample some of the excellent local wines without having to drive.
The restaurant served high quality local food throughout the stay.
