“Excellent value for money”

We stayed at the hotel for one night during the weekend. The rooms are very nice, food was great (Especially the Friday evening dinner). Our room had the amazing dead-sea view. In addition- there's transport to the Isrotel beach all the time and the beach itself is neat, accessorized and beautiful. It was totally worth it and I highly recommend it, although for not more than 2 nights because the Ein-bokek area itself is quite boring and unless you plan to go hiking the desert, there's nt much to do there beside the beach.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a sea front-view

“To be avoided”

Nothing good to say about this place. We couldn’t off-load our luggage at the entrance, as it was too congested. No one seemed to be doing anything about it either. The rooms were very old looking, and seemed not to have been redecorated in 30 years. The staff was very poorly informed about their services and their availability (e.g pool, spa or local restaurants (don’t believe them, they do exist nearby)). They have a Dead Sea water pool in the spa, which we wanted to use since it was only 16 degrees C outside. They refused us entry since our daughter is under 16 (she’s 14). Their excuses were “it’s our policy” and “we don’t have insurance”. When we pressed them to allow us entry, they threatened to call security. We left and “toughed” it out in the Dead Sea itself. We weren’t going to let a crappy hotel ruin our Dead Sea experience.

“Great Family Resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

We spent 2 nights at this resort with our children, ages 3 and 6, and we all had a great, restful time. The dining worked out well for everyone, and hte family suite was exactly what we needed. The kids did OK in the kids club, despite the fact that all the other kids there spoke Russian, and they watched a movie in Russian. At least it was a movie my kids new, and it was only for a few hours. We all enjoyed the pool--though the water was a bit chilly in December. It was a great rest stop after touring Masada and Ein Gedi, and before departing Israel.

“Stay at the Isrotel Dead Sea”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 December 2011

Dead Sea hotels are an underwhelming bunch. The Isrotel Dead Sea is probably the best of the bunch with a nice lobby and pool area. When you are there, upgrade to eat at the steakhouse vs the buffet.

“Isrotel Dead Sea is the preferred hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 December 2011

There are two Isrotel hotels at the Dead Sea (Israel). Only the Isrotel Ganim Hotel appears on the Tripadvisor site. The Isrotel Ganim Hotel is not as nice as the nearby Isrotel Dead Sea Hotel. My wife and I stayed at the Isrotel Dead Sea Hotel at mid-week for two nights' in November 2011. The reception desk was efficient, friendly, and fast. Hotel rooms are large, clean, bright, attractive, and quiet and all face the sea. Bed and pillows were also very comfortable, and the daily maid service was very good and efficient. The hotel spa and pools are pleasant. The hotel is only a five minute walk from the beach. The breakfast and dinner meals were also good and plentiful (both buffets) and are held in a pleasant banquet hall with a section for outside seating facing the sea. All in all, worthwhile to choose the Isrotel Dead Seas Hotel for a Dead Sea holiday.

Room Tip: Worthwhile to request a room with a balcony facing the Sea.
