sorry that u went thru all that at Ihamba but my stay was quite different,the food was so nice and always on time,the rooms are too spacious with the most comfortable bed,apart from the fact that they didnt have a swimming pool,but the rest were allgood.

DO NOT GO TO IHAMBA....... we stayed there with family and it was the worst experience ever.... the service is very poor..... its a very bushy place..... you spend all night swatting off mosquitos and checking your bed to make sure no ghekos have set up shop in there. You can count on burned sausages for breakfast....and then they are out of drinks by day 2 of your stay there. Thank God we had an ice cooler filled with our own drinks.... otw....... well I dont want to imagine the alternatives. There is nothing to do at the lodge itself.......so dont plan on relaxing there. You end up driving to the other lodges to relax....and eat and you spend way more than if you'd just booked Jakana or Mweya instead....... DO NOT GO HERE if you know whats good for you

The service during the booking was superb and made the whole process very easy. We couldn't believe the service, quality of meals and overall ambiance at the lodge over looking at Lake George and the mountains of the moon (Rwenzori) particularly when we consider the price we paid.

Special thanks to Katuutu who was so good at dealing efficiently with unexpected requests or difficulties. She never lost her smile even when there were many things to deal with at the same time. hahahah.
