As described before this Camp is in a beautiful setting, tents fine although my chemical toilet didn't work very well, BUT the food and service was average to not very good, the staff did not seem to want to talk to you, there was no alternative to the food menu, so if you didn't like the food then bread was the option. Breakfast was not great either.
My main gripe is the bar prices a glass of wine at all the other camps and lodges I stayed at was between 6,000 to 8,ooo shillings Here a small glass of wine was 20,000 shillings ! When converted to dollars with a very poor exchange rate $1 to 2,000 shillings it made this wine ridiculously expensive and certainly spolied the two days I spent here. The wine turned out to be Namaqua a wine you can buy by the box for about £16.00 in England! Several other clients were complaining about this.
Considering the company also own the fabulous Buhoma Lodge I cannot understand why this Camp differs so much in value and service.
