My wife and I stayed in Schenectady while visiting a customer and seeing some family. We stayed here for the first time. The place is located in the "Stockade" area of Schenectady in the midst of 150 year old homes along the river. The area is revitalized and pretty nice. It offers easy access to the local highways and to the town. The rooms are nice in the same vein as a Hampton Inn. We had a simple staircase to get to the bar and the people serving drinks were extremely nice to us. The room needs some attention to its walls and the television didn't work any better than the one my parents used in the 1960's only with more channels. Other than those points it was a nice place for a short stay. If I was in town to see some relatives again I would definitely recommend the location. I would also have a drink at the bar.
