I have to say I used the prevous reviews to find a decent hotel at a reasonable price in the Rochester area for a couple of days. The reviews were pretty muchon the mark. This hotel was clean. The bed comfortable. And quiet. I did have a problem with the toilet working properly upon arrival, but they moved me to a new room right away. As matter of fact they credit my bill a few bucks on check out without me even asking.

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable hotel for under $100, this is the place. Although there are no extras and internet access cost $5 a day. Having a refrigeator with freezer in the room was nice.

I was in Rochester for an annual tournament, so I have stayed at a couple of places in area and this was by far the best. We usually travel with a group but this year we used the HOTWIRE service and Extended Stay ended up being our selection. We stayed from Thursday night to Sunday and it was very pleasant, clean and the people were courteous. It was easy check in & out, and the location was cool. Though it is sort of ot of the way next to a strip mall, it was very quiet. We had just about anything we wanted very nearby. Since it had a full kitchen we saved a ton of money by going shopping the first night and getting some items to work up in the kitchen. On previous trips I have always spent a fortune on eating out!! The room was plain but comfortable, with nice bed and a recliner, after a whole day of tournament play it was very relaxing to be able to sitback in the recliner with my feet up and watch World Cup Soccer which is goin on at the time. I would recommend to anybody and will definitely look up again next time I am traveling.

We stayed at the esa in rochester henrietta and found it really good value for money, the rooms are very clean and as the building does seem quite new they have not had a chance to get shabby. We found it very easy to get on the I-390 and there were some good restaurants within walking distance. To sum up if you are looking for a cheap place to stay which is central and is clean, We would recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay there again. One moan was that there were a couple of grubby things like the cutlery draw in the kitchenette but we phoned reception and after having to ask a couple of times they did get it sorted.

Unfortunately for us hard core road warriors, the Extended Stay and Studio Plus chains were recently bought out and have gone up in price. The couple we've stayed in recently, including the Rochester/Henrietta property, appear to have been spiffed up a wee bit, and now allow pets, but also are about $10-$20 more a night, and also do not seem to offer a weekly rate discount any more.

The Henrietta property is difficult to find, as it's stuck waaaay back in a shopping mall parking lot. The room is extremely average, clean with absolutely no frills. If you need a full kitchen this is a good choice, but bring your own hair dryer and extra blanky.
