I was traveling on 11/16/11. My flight was cancelled. The Airline after much aggravation gave me a voucher to your Motel. Your Shuttle driver was so kind to me. He escorted me inside to the desk. I asked him if he would be taking us to the Airport in the am. No, another driver would. I needed to get a boarding pass I said. He went into another room and came out with a young gentleman named Fernando. This young man printed out my boarding pass in no time. He was wonderful!! I then went into your restaurant and Cindy took care of me. I have never recieved such kindnesses from your staff. I will brag about your facility to all of my family and friends forever. I traveled to the hotel with a couple friends the weekend of August 9-11, 2011. The hotel was very well maintained, large and with a nice layout. The pool, hot tub and sauna were clean and a ton of fun! They also had a room just for Priority Club members where I could get a complimentary breakfast or snack which is a neat idea. The best part was definitely the staff though - They went above and beyond to remember my name, accomodate all my requests, and also to help me find local attractions and bars/restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling in Rochester! Great time.

The room was somewhat dated with the bathroom needing a makeover. The TV is the old tube type and in this day and age one expects a flat screen in a national chain hotel. There are many, many other choices for lodging in the immediate area and I have stayed at several of the competitors during my frequent travels to Rochester. At this point, this Holiday Inn is not competitive in both levels of amenities, room condition and cost when you you compare it to the other hotels.

Decent hotel. I don't know if it warrants 3 stars as indicated on a name your own price site, but with a price break it is a definite step up from budget hotels. I don't know if full retail is justifiable, though. Biggest plus for traveller is it's right next to the airport. Amenities were not bad-on site restaurant was good & room service very quick. Housekeeping was a little slow on cleaning the room during this multi-night stay. It's basically an 'airport hotel,' so there's nothing to see or do within walking distance, including restaurants, shopping, activities, etc. Indoor pool was quite nice and even had a lifeguard on duty. The biggest negative I experienced was the marijuana party down the hall that got raided by the police at 2am. While not the hotel's fault, I got the impression this was not the first time this has been an issue.
