I read everyone's comments on another site and thought hey why not?! Maybe the other ppl leaving the comments were up tight snobby people who complain about everything! Those were my thoughts as I read reviews. Boy was I wrong!!! I'm a very easy going easily please person and I think 90 a night is expensive for a night at a hotel but it was out 5th anniversary and I wanted to do something special me and my husband had gone anywhere since out honeymoon. 2 kids later I'm thinking it was time to get away for an evening. I book a night for a jacuzzi suite and I paid extra for there bike rental. We get there and the lobby looks so fancy and beautiful I'm thinking WOW this is great!!! We check in and realize the suites are in the basement. I'm thinking ummm ok so no biggie! Well we take the elevator one level down and as soon as the elevator doors open this weird smell hits us and I'm thinking oh great! We get to our room the furniture is old chipped paint. The bed was comfortable very very comfortable I must say! We had the bike rental for the day so we put our stuff away and went up to the lobby for our bikes. Well needless too say they seriously need to upgrade!! These bikes were SO OLD and OUTDATED!! You couldn't even fix the seats. I kid you not if you were to see these bikes you would think they pulled them out of a dumpster! We made the best of it and still rode them I didn't want to complain it was our anniversary and our first time out alone without the kids and I was determined to have a good time. Well after our bike ride we wanted to relax in the jacuzzi tub. I was sooooooo upset when I walked into the bathroom!! The far end of the tub was dirty I had to scrub it clean before we filled it up. I know what your thinking I should have called the front desk and complained yes I know I should have but I didn't want to get my husband upset so I just cleaned it myself and made the best of it. Bottom line DONT STAY HERE!!!!!! NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!! Really I'm not a snob rich person we never stay in fancy hotels but let me tell you I have yet to go to a cheap Days In and have to clean our shower before getting in and I have yet to get off the elevator and be welcomed by a old wet towel that didn't dry right smell! I wish I would have made a stink about it but I didn't want to cause a scene and I wanted badle to have a nice anniversary with my hussband so we sucked it up annd just stayed but NEVERRRRRR again!!!!!

We came here for our anniversary and the bed had black hair in between sheets which is disgusting. when we called front desk to tell them women was rude, as was the man that came up to change room. The jucuizzi tub had yellow disgusting stuff in it which is one reason we got the room for the tub. Would not reccomeend coming here

The staff was great: helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay the very best possible.

I would like to thank nancy and her staff for making our stay the best stay in years. i ve stayed at a lot of hotels in rochester for my anniversity, the hotel staff toped them all and the rooms were great i know where i going to stay next year.
