This hotel is located in Pittsford and is a short walk to several
restaurants and shops in downtown Pittsford. The staff was gracious and helpful
throughout our stay. Complementary coffee/tea is available in the morning by the
reception desk and there is a computer/printer available for guests'
use which was nice for printing boarding passes.
The rooms are comfortable and the beds and pillows were very
nice. We stayed in a king room. There are roll-aways available
at no extra charge which is a nice touch if you're traveling with children.
There is a mini bar in the room but the choices were rather
pricey (for example, $25 for a small bottle of red wine). The bathrooms
are very basic (standard tub/shower) but certainly adequate.
The property has a lovely full service spa, indoor pool, and fitness room.
I enjoyed a massage at the spa and had the chance to work out in the
fitness room. The spa also offers a relaxation room with a fireplace where
you can enjoy teas and light snacks (fruit) while waiting for your service.
Showers and lockers are also available. We would definitely stay
here again.

this is a great getaway hotel. Been a few times, and always perfect. Every room is essentially identical, so no worrying about upgrades etc. and each room is just fine. Staff are informal and friendly but professional, breakfast/brunch is excellent. Nice little pool which is often empty. Neighborhood has decent walks along the canal, and just across the road is a little area of stores, bars etc which supplements the hotel very well.

Rochester is a short drive, for stores, museums etc.

Enjoy this place, just don't spoil it for me.

Comfortable, nicely decorated rooms, with a a good sized desk and even an easy chair for reading or watching the good sized flat screen TV. Bed turn down service with chocolates; the doors to each room have doorbells, really, actually homier than housekeeping having to knock. Small gym, pool, hot tub -- nice; can come down in bathrobe (provided in room) down walkway behind lobby, so not traipsing past guest checking in or out. Direct access to canal tow path, great for morning walk. Hotel restaurant is pleasant with friendly staff, but service is very slow; sometime took short walk to several restaurants along canal as an alternative. Didn't try the Spa, but it seemed popular. Would definitely stay here again.

Last minute recommendation when here on business. EXCELLENT staff--very attentive. Small boutique hotel-feel. Nice rooms. Aveda products. Free shuttle to Airport. And what a surprise to this Starbucks addict: the coffee in the lobby was some of the best I think I have ever had--really! Not sure what was so good about it, but really great coffee. Amazing surprise of a location--will definitely repeat when back in Pittsford!
