The Inn was decorated so beautifully and tastefully for Christmas, I felt like I was back in time. I received a tour of the mansion and each room is uniquely decorated, spacious and comfortable. The amenities were very thoughtful - pool table, complimentary beverages, fire places, board games, valuable advice and information on attractions and restaurants... Cliff and Michele are such gracious hosts - the breakfast was AMAZING!!! We'll go back again and again.

The inn was beautifully restored and decorated; our room was large and comfortable. We enjoyed our wine and cheese in the sunroom; and admired the flowers in the beautiful garden. The innkeepers provided snacks and water in the room, and coffee/tea and ice in the public space. We could easily walk into town to nearby restaurants. Menus were available in the inn to help us choose.

My wife and I just spent two enjoyable days at the Fox Inn B&B in Penn Yan, NY, strategically located between Keuka and Seneca Lakes in the beautiful Finger Lakes area of NY state. Michele and Cliff are outstanding "chefs", their breakfasts (which you can chose off of a lengthy menu) were "great"!! Their vintage home from 1820 was very comfortable and close to local restaurants as well as to the lake areas mentioned. All in all, a great experience at The Fox Inn.

We had such a relaxing time. We stayed in the William Morris Oliver room and we sat by the fireplace, that was in our room, every evening with a cup of coffee. After returning from a local restaurant we would play pool. As for breakfast it was the best! You are given a menu the night before to chose what dish you would like. I chose creme brulee' french toast one morning then eggs benedict the next. My husband chose pancakes. There was many other choices with the meal also. Our hosts were very helpful showing us menus of local restaurants and wineries helping us chose which was the best for us.
