We arrived late at night to find a friendly welcome in this hotel. Our room was a little old-fashioned for a Hampton, with the hot tub in the bathroom and the walls showing it. Nonetheless, our overall impression was that this staff was so friendly that that the subsequent Hamptons--although they were fancier-- suffered by comparison! We were only interested in the Corning Glass Museum which is a very short ride away. Even a month later, I think of how pleasant it was to stay here!

I stayed at this hotel for a conference held at the Corning Museum of Glass in October. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, offering my friend and I welcome bags of snacks upon our arrival, and giving us cold bottles of water when they heard we had just driven eight hours to the hotel from Virginia. The room was very clean, and staff called as soon as we got into the room to make sure we were happy and had what we needed. Bedding was comfortable and clean, bathroom was spacious and spotless. There was plenty of room in the room for two adults plus bags, and the small refrigerator was a nice addition. Each morning, breakfast was served downstairs and it was plenty for us, with good selections. Great coffee too! Afternoon snacks of cookies and popcorn balls were a nice touch (it was near Halloween), and the staff really was terrific. We did have some difficulty with the high-speed internet handling video chat, but we had no other issues with it -- email and web browsing was fine. I will stay there again, definitely, when I come to Corning!

My wife and I were on the way home from Niagra Falls and decided to do the Seneca Wine trail. My wife had booked the Hampton inn for one night after driving down the wine trail. I was pleasantly surprised after finding the front desk staff extremely helpful in finding a restaurant, the room was clean and very large, and had free breakfast in the morning (not just continental, eggs, waffles,etc..).

This was a very nice hotel. We had the king whirlpool room. The room was very large, had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bathroom was a good size and the whirlpool tub was nice. The bed was very comfortable. The pool area was very nice and the water warm. The breakfast was very good. I really enjoyed the little perks. They had fresh fruit, coffee and tea available in the lobby all day. At night they brought out an old fashioned popcorn machine and had popcorn and freshly baked cookies throughout the evening. (You could smell the cookies baking ealier in the day!) They also have a DVD player in the rooms and they have an extensive DVD collection available (free of charge) at the main desk. We actually stayed here because we were going to the PA Grand Canyon, and there was a festival going on so there were no hotel rooms avaiable there. I am very glad we found this hotel, and we intend on returning at some point with our kids to go to the Corning Museum of glass.
