My family & I stopped at this hotel on the way to New Jersey to visit family on the Easter weekend. It was a great experience from the check-in onward. The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and the little extras they provided were a nice touch. The front desk staff was welcoming and very courteous. They had apps out for guests to munch on when we arrived. In the morning the complimentary breakfast was fine and ample choices were available. The hotel is convenitently located from the highway and accessing it was no problem. If I could change on thing it would be the price - a little on the higher side but then again it was the start of the Easter weekend. There appears to be plently of things to do in the area during the warmer seasons and everything suroounding the area is well marked.

My husband and I were in the area to visit some local sites. We chose the Hampton Inn because it was easy on/easy off the exit, and TripAdvisor reviews gave it a thumbs-up! We stayed and were so glad we did. Honestly, the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I enjoy a soft, heavily padded mattress, and this was it! The comforter was thick and fluffy, too. I had the best night's sleep I've had in a long time.

In addition, the staff was very friendly, as advertised by others here at Trip Advisor. When I asked about the homemade cookies (that others mentioned on TripAdvisor), they stated they would not be serving cookies because a sports team was due to arrive, and unfortunately, the staff said, "the cookies usually end up in the swimming pool." I told them that that was really unfortunate because I had heard about their famous cookies through TripAdvisor! The woman went out back and brought some leftover cookies and told me to call down to the lobby later. They would make a special batch for me. I thought that was really nice. Unfortunately, we had plans to be out in the evening hours, so we turned down the offer. They also gave us "treat bags" including bottled water and snacks. That was so nice, too.

I was very concerned about the "sports team" being rowdy. The staff assured me that if I had any complaints, they would rectify the situation. She assured me they do not put up with any bad behavior because they have to keep their other guests in mind. I can honestly say that we didn't hear a sound during the night. It was peaceful and quiet.

I really enjoyed our stay at this Hampton. I hope your stay is as pleasant as ours was!

Nice quiet place, friendly staff and alot of things that seem like small details but enhance a hotel stay. Freshly popped popcorn in a machine and chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven waiting in the lobby when we checked in. A small bag with bottled water and a snack handed to us with our room keys. A couple hundred dvd's available to take up to your room to watch on your nice flatscreen tv, though not all brand new movies it's still quite a selection. And do yourself a favor and get a room with a whirpool tub in it, it's definately worth the couple extra dollars. Also, the pool is very nice and quite warm and the breakfast is most definately sufficient. Only negatives could be dated furniture in the rooms and some minor paint/spackle issues, nothing significant.

We arrived late at night to find a friendly welcome in this hotel. Our room was a little old-fashioned for a Hampton, with the hot tub in the bathroom and the walls showing it. Nonetheless, our overall impression was that this staff was so friendly that that the subsequent Hamptons--although they were fancier-- suffered by comparison! We were only interested in the Corning Glass Museum which is a very short ride away. Even a month later, I think of how pleasant it was to stay here!
