Due to all the drilling crews in the area, hotels rooms are hard to come by and prices have soared. This place had rooms so bit the bullet and stayed here, regardless of what some of the other reviews said. For a $60 room it would have been mostly acceptable. Worn but generally clean. Big problem was I had non-smoking room. After the heater ran for about 1 hour a "stale/musty" odor started to permeate the room. Hoping for stale cigarette smell but it could have been mold. Went to Walmarts and got a glad plug in which helped some, but still got up the next morning with destroyed sinuses. Breakfast better than expected except for the orange juice. It had started to ferment big time. In a nut shell, if beat sleeping in the car but next time in town, will see what else if available. I may stay here again, but only if the window can be opened and fresh air left in!

Before booking for this particular Econo Lodge, please check to make sure that they have updraded their decor by at least 20 years. My family and I were only staying one night...but the conditions were not acceptable. For $79+ per night, you would hope to get a little more than what was offered. Cleanliness was questionable. The t.v. was from some prehistoric age. Heavy smell of smoke...in non-smoking room. In its current state, this hotel is well past its prime and is in need of a Kenny Rogers type face lift.
I appreciate the staff's (Scott) willingness to work with us, but we could just not stay here.

Based on the price, we were quite happy staying here rather than in Corning. Motel was clean and comfortable and they have free DVD movie rentals at the desk. The staff was very helpful with recommending things to do in the area. We stayed three days and I rode my bike in a different direction each day. Easy access to good roads for both driving and biking. I liked the picnic tables out back by the tree line for outside reading. Good value for the price!

This Is a bare bones budget hotel. We chose this hotel based on availability for our travel time in the area. No easy access to hotel although it was near a freeway. Room smelled strongly of deodorizer. Although it was a non-smoking room, it smelled like stale smoke. Hard lumpy mattress with pillows to match along with thin small bath towels. Front desk very pleasant and helpful with directions. Many construction workers staying there on extended basis which seemed to limit the number of reasonably priced rooms available in the local area.
