Stayed at this hotel for 1 night on 1/17. Heading East on 17, it is a little tricky to get to, but the signage is excellent. The hotel looks brand new, but is actually 5 years old; you'd never know! The lobby is hugh, well furnished bright and Darlene at the front desk was welcoming. Flat screens in the rooms, comfortable bed, updated furniture and big, nice bathroom. Subway, Wendy's, and arby's are all just across the street. Great varity with the complimentary breakfast as well. If you're in need of a hotel in Owego, grab a room at the Hampton Inn!

I had a short stay while in town for a family funeral. After a long drive, it was great to arrive at such a clean and welcoming location! I did arrive late (after 10 PM) and the restaurant next door was closed. There is fast food near by and the complementary breakfast was great.

Wow, our new place to stay on our trips "home". Our first impression upon entering the hotel was walking into a bright, open, clean and modern lobby, to the cheerful, professional helpful staff at check-in. The room was not the typical "standard" hotel room, but tastefully furnished, sufficient fluffy pillows, comfortable sofa couch, nice desk/table/desk lamp workspace...large flat screen TV. Bathroom had generous fluffy towels that have seen fabric softener...nice granite covered sink/vanity area and large walk in tiled shower. Complimentary breakfast has sufficient choices of hot and cold foods plus fruit, juice and bakery items. Since the weather was a bit chilly, we took advantage of the 24/7 hot beverage bar (coffee and many varieties of teas). We were surprised that the inside pool was larger than most indoor hotel pools. The room was very clean, no dust anywhere, bathroom floors were clean (no hair anyplace). The cleaning staff was also friendly and helpful. Only two small negative comments is that we could hear people in the room next to us and the room above us; and, the tissue and toilet paper could be softer. We travel to the Apalachin/Owego area several times a year and will definitely stay at this Hampton Inn.

The Hamption is a nice hotel. It is very clean and the staff is pleasant and helpful. The complementary breakfast was substantial and including healthy choices such as no-sugar cereal, yogurt, and lots of fresh fruit. It also has skim milk. If you need junk, there is plenty of that too in terms of pastries and waffles. They also served eggs, bacon and breads to toast.

My only compliant is that the coffee is just warm, not piping hot.
