So glad that I booked this cottage. The owner Janet Glasser was so friendly and helpful. She always outside talking to the guest. The cottages are very nice and clean you hated to leave. I hope to be back there next year.

can' t say enough about how nice the village cottages are. the owners are always upgrading or just painting their cottages. a one minute walk will take you to the center of town. Don't wait for summer time to enjoy this diamond

We have been staying at Village Cottages since the late 1990's and recommend it to everyone we hear is going to Old Forge. We have seen numerous changes and improvements and always find everything top notch. Each year since 2002, we have used Village Cottages for a five day get away for my 5 siblings and their spouses and myself and are well accomodated (at one time, as many as 19 of us). Some years my aunts and uncles have even joined us. Please take the time to check it out - i'm sure you'll be pleased! We are! (and we are going back again in July 2007 for 5 days)

the last two years after grape harvest my wife and i have gone to old forge and stayed at the village cottages. we enjoy relaxing in front of the wood burning fire place(Harris cottage)and being able to walk through the back lawn and coming out next to Walts Diner where we eat breakfast and lunch,we go to the Steak House in thendara for supper. and being able to shop without driving the car. the cottages are clean and cozy and well kept andthey are always renovating . the owners are very nice and always there to help. if you don't care to eat out the kitchens are all furnished all you do is supply the food. give them a try, we love it.
