During our stay in Santorini, I booked a sunset trip with Santorini Sailing based on reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. We ended up on Blue Lagoon 2 with Captain Jimmy, Laurent, and Danny. It was myself, my husband and 3 children (ages 16, 15, 9). I cannot begin to say enough about this company and our trip. The crew was very informative....even kept the attention of my kids! The fact that Jimmy and Danny are both Greek-Americans made us even more comfortable. We made 2 stops for swimming. On the second stop, the crew prepared the BEST meal we had during our 10 day visit to Greece. We had an amazing time and by far one of the most memorable days for our entire family!! Thank you Santorini Sailing and Staff for everything!!

We did a 6 day cruise.We discussed the type of islands we wanted to see but all is subject to the weather or as we soon learned by the sea. The crew, Capt Theo, Danny and Maria were fun, effecient & very knowledgeable about the areas we visited & the sea. Delicious food - Maria was great in sharing ingredients & preparation tips. Theo delivered great things form the grill. We would love to set sail on the Triton again & highly recommend Santorini Sailing. The trip stands as a favorite of our travels! Many times over while on board we would exchange a glance & the only word that really suited was "awesome"! In August, bring sun screen even SPF clothing, camera/water camera too, walking shoes for island touring, casual clothes we spent most time in swimsuits, books, crossword puzzles; most of all bring a mindset for enjoying the sea & a peaceful passing of time, absorb Greece the culture & get to know the people the Greeks are AWESOME! My husband and I loved our morning on The Dreamcatcher so much we decided to go back out on the water again for another trip. Our second day out was in the afternoon to see the beautiful Oia sunset. After spending your whole trip looking down at the water from the cliffs, this outing gives you a much different perspective of the island.

The boat is in great condition, the crew very accommodating (and funny!), and the food was great. This is definitely the best boat trip in the area. If you see other boats while you are on the water, you will notice how crammed the people are. Santorini Sailing takes only a fraction of the people that they could on board in order to ensure a more pleasant trip (with a lot more room!).

We enjoyed the food and loved that there was even a cooking demonstration! We took a video of the demo and recently made the food at home- our friends were impressed with how it turned out. Make sure to bring your appetite as there are several different dishes to try. Also, make sure to check out the bar for Pete's pina colada's and margaritas.

Don't miss out on this experience. It was the highlight of our honeymoon. Make reservations in advance as this is a popular trip. Try to go early on in your stay in Santorini so you can go again if you end up enjoying it as much as we did.

To cap off my 'splurge' week in Oia, after being on the road for 5 weeks, I booked into the Sunset cruise on the Dreamcatcher Catamaran.

What an amazing day...we had incredible wind and the sails got some good use that day. All the crew were super friendly and accommodating. It included a great tzatziki recipe demo by 'the texan' and a delicious meal all around.

All the people on the boat were lovely. Most took advantage of the sunshine to hang out in the nets and we stopped a few times for a swim. The sunset of course was pretty surreal. Highly recommend you take advantage of being in such a unique setting such as the Caldera to get on the boat and see the island from another angle.
