We arrived to Musses Studios end of September, trying to avoid all the crowds visiting Santorini during summer. We stayed for a week.
The first sight of the apartment was a bit disappointing since I was expecting the apartment to have the southern view and lot of sun. Unfortunately, we were facing north. If you like your morning coffee on the terrace, like I do, it is quite disappointing to sit always in the shade (sun was always on the other side) and have constant cold wind as a company. Just across the street you can wear shorts, t-shirt and sunbathe, but on our terrace I was sitting in fleece and long trousers, evenings wrapped up in blanket. To be fair, this position is probably ideal for hot summer days. I can just imagine people boiling on southern side, while here it is probably nice and cool. Unfortunately, temperatures were much milder end of September.
As for the apartment, it is just lovely! Great value for the money, simply decorated and functional. After the terrace experience I was expecting to freeze in the night, but, quite the opposite, it was very warm and cozy. The people working here are friendly and helpful, eager to explain and talk about all wonders Santorini has to offer. Apartment gets cleaned every day and it is decently supplied (microwave, fridge, stove, electric kettle, tv, etc.). The best part is that it has WIFI, so you can book your flights and ferries while sitting in your bedroom.
It is located very near the center, bakery and supermarket just across the street, bus station 2 minutes away and tourist company offering rent-a-cars and sailing trips some 50 meters away.
All in all, this review would be "excellent" if not for the northern view.
